Even though VIT encountered a few challenges last year, VIT Acting Principal, Wade Evans confirmed that VIT will be offering 14 courses this year.
The courses provided this year are as follows:
Certificate Level II: Certificate II in Business (Administration services), Certificate II in Computing ( Computer supports/software and hardware), Certificate II in Construction (General construction) Certificate II in Mechanical engineering (metal production), Certificate II in Hospitality (Food preparation), Certificate II in Hospitality ( Accommodation services), Certificate II in Tourism (Tour operations, Certificate II in Tourism ( Customer Services), Certificate II in Fine Arts and Crafts.
Certificate III: Certificate III in Resilience (Climate Change &Disaster Risk Reduction)
Certificate IV: Certificate IV in Finance (Accounting).
Last year in December, when introducing the VIT COVID Bursary, a historic event in partnership with APTC aimed to address students financially as they proceed towards their educational goals, especially within this COVID-19 crisis, Mr Evans stated that VIT will be offering 14 — 20 programs including, Certificate IV in Accounting/Finance, Certificate IV in Building and Construction and hopefully Certificate IV in Information and Communications Technology.
