VIT assisting Biogas plant trial operation

The Vanuatu Institute of Technology (VIT) aims to assist local businesses who want to bring in new equipment or technology in the country this year.

This comes as it recently announced the resumption of its programs after a year of reviewing and upgrading courses offered.

VIT Principal, Wade Evans stated that VIT will be focusing on Industry trainings as well in 2021.

“Aside from the development of higher-level qualifications, VIT is also positioning itself to assist local businesses who want to bring in new equipment or technology,” he said.

“At the moment VIT is working with a local businessman to assess and evaluate a Biogas Plant designed for small to medium households.”
