Certificate II in Hospitality (Accommodation Services) is aimed at accommodation services operators who required training in priority skill areas and trainees who have been working in the tourism industry who have attained lower qualifications in this area and wish to articulate to the next level. This qualification is also aimed those without any experience or skills who are eligible for the course.
Module 1: Communication in Hospitality

This module deals with the skills and knowledge to carry out basic calculation on routine work, collect and organize workplace information, carry out porter service at the reception and handle customer’s feedback in Accommodation establishment.
Module 2: Importance of Hospitality service

This module covers learning outcomes on skills and knowledge required to apply hospitality skills in the workplace. The module also covers technical and organizational skills required by service staff to provide a range of organization products and services to satisfy customers in any hospitality settings.
Module 3: Provide Housekeeping service to guest

This module covers skills and knowledge to prepare rooms for guest arrival and service guest room following proper hygiene procedures at the work place.
Module 4: Monitor and clean work operations

This module covers the skills and knowledge of how to clean and maintain cleaning equipment also it includes planning and monitoring of workplace operation to ensure that task are carryout in efficiently.
Module 5: Provide service to guest

The outcome of this module covers, skills and knowledge to check room and prepare report for maintenance .the module also covers knowledge in handling lost and found items in any accommodation establishment.
Module 6: Knowledge of chemical and Linen usage

This module covers the knowledge on proper chemical use for cleaning also the module covers knowledge on deferent type of linen required in accommodation rooms.
Module 7: Laundering and linen operation
Days: 5
Dates: 22 June – 28 June

The module deals with the skills and knowledge required to work in an ‘on-premises’ laundry in a accommodation services establishment.it also cover skills knowledge to launder guest linen.
Module 8: Laundry and Housekeeping stock
Days: 5
Dates: 30 June – 6 July

This module covers skills and knowledge required to receive and store Housekeeping stock in a range of tourism and hospitality enterprise.
Module 9: Maintain use of equipment and store stock
Days: 5
Dates: 9-15 July
Fees: 5026 VT
The module covers skills and knowledge to maintain cleaning equipment and store supplies correctly.
Module 10: Basic Business practice
Days: 6
Dates: 17-24 July
Fees: 5026 VT
This unit covers the competency to process financial journal entries.it also cover skills and knowledge in filling record at work place.
IMPORTANT
Participants can exit at any time and receive statements of attainment for successful modules covered.
Participants successfully completing all modules will be eligible for a Certificate II in Hospitality (Food Preparation).
Minimum entry level is Year 10 completion with a pass grade.
